I'm blessed to be the stay at home mom of 2 boys and wife to
the wonderful, hardworking love of my life. Sometimes (most of the time) this
place is a mess. At first, when the kids were babies, it was mainly crushed
cheerios on the kitchen floor. Then goldfish. Next Little People and Matchbox
Cars started to appear. Everywhere. Now Legos, random Band-Aids, superhero
action figures and rocks are scattered about. ALL of the couch cushions(why?)
and an occasional pair of Underoos litter the floor, too. I try to keep this
mess looking like a place despite the odds against me, including my short
attention span. I do that with what I have-limited time and a limited budget.
When I'm not busy with the boys or cleaning up ( and even when I should be), I
love to read shelter blogs, scroll through Pinterest, sew, paint anything that
doesn't move, shop thrift stores, and move furniture around (constantly).
Jessica Hische said, "The work you do while you procrastinate is probably
the work you should be doing for the rest of your life." Enough said! I'll
take it! Thus Crunchy Floors the blog and shop were born. If you enjoy making your mess a place, then please come back often!
Bless your mess,
Karen
